It houses one of the largest collections of firearms in the country, interpreting over 800 years of international history. About 200,000 people a year visit the museum, ranging from the enthusiast to the novice on firearms. In July 2019, the museum reopened after a major renovation. The new museum showcases the encyclopedic collection and educates visitors through hands-on inter-actives and simulators on history, culture, technology, and safety.
