Purdey, Holland, Webley, Colt, Cogswell, Harrison, Grant, Moore, Grey, Westley Richards, and Woodward to provide a collective voice for British gunmakers when dealing with legislative threats and frictions with proof authorities, railways, rogue dealers, etc. In 1896, working with Mr. Eley and Mr. Kynoch, the chamber sizes for shotguns were standardized to what we have across the world today.
