In 2023, Resonac America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Resonac Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, was established after the integration of Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) and Showa Denko Materials Co., Ltd. (SDMC). “Resonac” was created as a combination of two English words, the word “resonate” and “c” as the first letter of “chemistry.” The new company name implies our strong commitment to firmly linking all of these for greater “resonation” toward a shared future and finding new partners as this resonance broadens, thereby creating a powerful movement to change society.
