Valencia King is a Journalist, Talk Show Host, Motivational Speaker, Poet, Actor and Voice-over Talent. Valencia produces and hosts Real Talk Radio and Real Talk Sports with Valencia King, which are featured on KKVI Radio 89.9 FM (Dallas) and I95 Sports & Entertainment Network (New Jersey).  Her work as a young journalist has been recorded in the U.S. House of Representatives Congressional Record with an essay she wrote about dedicated Veterans and Preserving History.  As a talk show host, Valencia takes pride in knowing her interviews with business moguls; educators, athletes, and entertainers help connect her self-confidence message with the youth in her community and beyond. Valencia King is a graduate from Richland College where she earned an Associates of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.  She is currently continuing her studies in Radio, Television and Film at the University of North Texas.  Valencia and her mother Shirley Walker-King are known as a fabulous and astute Mother Daughter Duo in Sports, Entertainment and as Motivational Speakers.  Together they conduct workshop and seminar under their nonprofit Community Mom Community Dad program.  In Valencias down time she enjoys watching sports and fishing with her father Vincent King a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy.  All in all Valencia King is a well-rounded young lady who is becoming star amongst journalist, talk show host and motivational speakers.  Valencia King is the voice of radios, the conscious of our innocent, and the heartbeat of our nation.

Shirley enjoys conducting workshops and speaking engagements with her daughter Valencia King as they help women of all ages reconnect during their Mother and Daughter Enrichment Workshop. Shirley also works alongside her daughter, Valencia in Sports & Entertainment Media as the Executive Producer of Real Talk Sports & Real Talk Radio with Valencia King on KKVI FM Radio and I95 Sports & Entertainment Radio.
