The iRiS Kinetics systems for the study of biomolecular interactions, unlike SPR, allows for the measurement of small molecule binding kinetics without the DMSO bulk effect seen with other techniques. They allow for the multiplex measurement of kinetic binding curves. In this mode, multiple capture molecules, such as antibodies, are spotted and immobilized on the iRiS chip. The analytical sample is then flowed through and binding measure over time, to produce binding curves. (less)
